Making Room to Grow
Space 4.0 – Our building expansion project

Visitors to our church immediately notice that we have
a serious need of more space – in the sanctuary, in the foyer,
and especially in the RE classrooms. We feel snug in our existing quarters.
We have a full nursery, two small classrooms and one larger classroom
that can be divided. All of these rooms, other than the nursery, are
also used for meetings during the week. In our current set up,
the DRE has some work and file space but calling it an office requires
a stretch of the imagination.
Recognizing that we need room to grow, we have embarked on a major expansion project. Accomplishments to-date include the development of a multi-phase master plan that will allow us to maximize the use of our site while maintaining its green character and a successful capital campaign in which we have pledged over $1.1 Million for phase I construction. Construction is underway and we are now moving towards completion of the first phase, which is expected to be done in late April. It’s getting very exciting!
