I am a third-generation Unitarian and have called OUUC my spiritual home for over 30 years. During that time, I have been actively involved in many aspects of church life including Worship Arts, Ministerial Search Committee, Transition Team, Nominating Committee (now Leadership Development), President and board member for Out of the Woods Shelter for 3 years, Stewardship Drive for 3 years (one year as co-chair), Books, Brownies, and Beans Planning Team for many years, and the Writing Team for the recent Vision, Mission, and Ends workgroup.
After a long career in nursing, health education, counseling, and program administration, I retired from the State of Washington 15 years ago. Since then, I have been active in volunteer work, including the Master Gardener Program, Nisqually Wildlife Refuge, on-air and production work with Panorama TV 370, and most recently, 3 years as secretary of the Panorama Garden Club Board of Directors. In my spare time, I enjoy writing, gardening, reading, and making good things to eat!
