Challenges After Jail – Services in Thurston County

April 26, 7:00-8:00 pm.

NAMI Thurston-Mason and Justice Not Jails present a Zoom forum to educate the public about services available to people with behavioral health needs after they have been released from jail. These services are critical to helping people recover their lives after being involved with the justice system.

Referrals – Maria Gallo, Social Services Specialist, Thurston County Public Defense

Employment – Korbett Mosesly, Director of Workforce Services, Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council

Housing – Keylee Marineau, Thurston County Homeless & Affordable Housing Coordinator

This is the third of three forums. The first forum explored how programs in Thurston County are preventing people with mental health and substance use disorders from entering the criminal justice system. The second forum presented programs for people while they are in jail and involved in the Court system. Forums 1 and 2 will be available for viewing here.
