Choir
Joining the choir is easy, and all are welcome. You don’t need to be a member of the congregation to sing in the choir. We don’t require auditions, formal musical training, or a long-term commitment.

Gen X.Y.Z.
Gen XYZ brings together young(ish) adults for food and fellowship. The group provides an opportunity to build friendships and connect with others in the congregation while sharing a meal together. Lunches are held on the third Sunday of each month at 12:15pm, except in December.

Guys Thank Goodness It’s Thursday, gather for good conversation and good beer. Newcomers are always welcome. Gatherings take place on Thursdays at 4:30 pm.

Lady Unitarian Social Hour is a group that meets most Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6ish for fellowship and conversation at various establishments around Olympia, Tumwater, and Lacey. We welcome anyone who identifies as a woman. Although most of us have a little gray in our hair, any age over 21 is welcome.

Mighty Unitarian Guys brings together men of all ages to build connection and enjoy coffee together. The group meets Thursdays from 10:00–11:00 am at Fog & Fern Coffee House in Lacey.

OUUC’s Monthly Book Group meets on the second Thursday of each month in person after community dinner Sept- June, and online year round. New members are always welcome.

The Nature Group gathers to enjoy the outdoors and connection while exploring local parks and trails together. The group meets at at a different location every month, people of all ages and abilities are welcome.

The Partner Church Team helps sustain OUUC’s more than 30-year relationship with our partner Unitarian congregation in Kissolymos, Romania. New members are always welcome.

Voice Class
Our Music Director leads a drop-in group voice class to work on vocal technique and grow our knowledge of both music and history as we sing our way through all generations and genres of song. It’s a chance to sing your heart out in an always-supportive environment. Come join the fun!

Women’s Book Group
The Women’s Book Group is dedicated to building friendships and fostering connection among UU women through reading and discussion. Participants explore a mix of fiction and nonfiction books, share perspectives, and enjoy thoughtful conversation in community. The group meets in January, March, May, July, September, and November, primarily on Zoom, with potluck gatherings at OUUC in July and September.
