OUUC is a welcoming and inclusive congregation to youth, and youth are included and welcomed in worship and in most community events. Additionally, we have programs that are just for youth and programs that are intentionally for mixed ages with care toward making them appropriate for youth.
Youth in Middle and High School meet on most Sundays 12:30-2pm at OUUC. This year’s focus for meetings will be AntiRacism, but there’s plenty of time for group building and having fun as well. Check with our RE Assistant at reassistant@ouuc.org for a current schedule of youth group events.
This year we will be offering Coming of Age for youth 8th grade and older. This is a yearlong journey of self-discovery and values clarification, and it also qualifies youth to become full voting members of this congregation if they choose to.
