Quick Guidelines
Deadline: Mondays at Noon for the weekly update email and Sunday mornings for printed announcements.
Length: 50-100 words (150 max). Shorter is better! For longer articles, contact the office about the website blog.
Focus on engagement, not details: Tell readers how attending will benefit them, why it has ongoing value, or what makes it memorable; not every menu item or room number.
Before You Submit
Consider these questions:
- Am I allowing adequate time for completion?
- What is the return on investment for this communication?
- Do I need input from the Staff Lead for my ministry area?
How Your Announcement Will Be Shared
Our Communications Team will determine the best way to share your message, which may include:
- Weekly email (The Weekly Update)
- Website
- Facebook and Twitter
- Sunday morning printed announcements
Please note: This is a request form. Your submission may be approved, modified, or we may request more information.
Photo & Graphics Guidelines
- Use only photos you have taken yourself
- Photos of children require parent/guardian permission
- Use only public domain graphics (contact the office for sources)
