OUUC holds a HUGE community Books Brownies & Beans (BBB) used book sale event each October to benefit local partner organizations working towards a more loving, just, and healthy world.
The date and beneficiaries for OUUC’s 2025 in-person Books Brownies & Beans event are still being determined.
OUUC’s Book Nook is coming soon! Book Nook will be OUUC’s online bookstore for Olympia-area shoppers, open ‘24/7’ on an ongoing basis. You’ll be able to shop and pay securely online and then arrange to pick up your orders from a book sale volunteer. And, just as with the annual BBB, proceeds will be lovingly passed on to our community partners.
We plan to open Book Nook in Spring 2025 at www.books-ouuc.com/. Stay tuned for updates.

We’re ready for more books! Here’s how you can donate books to OUUC:
Donations of gently used books, audiobooks, and video DVDs for OUUC community book sales are welcome the first 7 days of each month from February through September during any daylight hours at the covered center section of Susan Dodson’s front deck (contact us for the address).
Please do not bring book donations to the OUUC building.
And please – no musty books, magazines, encyclopedia sets, music CDs, cassettes, or VHS tapes.
