OUUC is a welcoming and inclusive congregation to youth, and youth are included and welcomed in worship and in most community events. Additionally, we have programs that are just for youth and programs that are intentionally for mixed ages with care toward making them appropriate for youth.

Upcoming scheduled programs just for youth include:
Summer Youth Resiliency Retreat
July 28-30th, noon-4pm each day
In a world that can be stressful, with so many calls for action, how do we tend to our own well-being, mental health, spirit, and energy? In this retreat youth will rest, have fun, and learn tools for resiliency.
Highlights will include meditation, self-care workshops, and a closing firepit night.
Pay what you can, sliding scale
Harm Reduction Learning
Sundays 1:30-3:30
9/28, 10/12, 10/26, 11/9, 11/23, and 12/7
Youth will explore the concept of harm reduction as it relates to a variety of possible harms (substance use, mental health needs, violence prevention, and more) and increase their skills around harm reduction and decision making.
Hidden Histories
Sundays 1:30-3:30
Winter 2026
As the history that is most promoted in the American system hides truths of diversity, race, and more, we will explore the often hidden history that still shapes the world we live in today.
Coming of Age
Sundays 1:30-3:30
Spring 2026
Coming of Age invites youth to reflect on what they value and believe now, and to create and share a credo statement in a worship service. It is a beloved rite of passage for UU youth.
