Opportunities for Social Justice Learning and Action

  • Recording of UUSJ Roundtable talk by Rev. Dr. Pippin Whitaker, “I can’t be the change on my own”
  • Phonebank for Build Back Better: You can help UUs show in force, no matter where you live — UUA and UUSJ are actively driving UU support, and you can help by joining a Side With Love (SWL) phonebank on 12/9 (11:00 am PST).
  • UUSJ joins #WeAreHome, Faith in Action, and Side with Love to insist that Congress include pathways to citizenship for Dreamers, Temporary Protected Status holders, farmworkers, and all essential workers plus their family members who are not already US citizens or legal permanent residents. We call on both the House and the Senate to consider using the reconciliation process to pass a budget that includes such pathways.
