Spiritual Practice Groups

Spiritual Practices at OUUC are varied and include many different modalities as well as drawing from different sources and traditions. We have ongoing spiritual practice groups that are drop-in, and we have a monthly Spiritual Practice mini-retreat that is by registration.

If you are interested in starting or leading a new spiritual practice group, please contact our Director of Community and Faith Development, Rev Sara Lewis, at dcfd@ouuc.org

Current Spiritual Practice Groups

Buddhist Sangha

All are welcome at the weekly sangha for learning about Buddhism and silent meditation practice.

The Buddhist Sangha meets most Thursdays 6:30-7:30.

For more information, contact Curt Hill

UU Pagans

An eclectic group of pagans meeting to explore paganism and celebrate the wheel of the year together.

The UU Pagans meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month 6:30-7:30 and also gather for sabbat celebrations.

For more information, contact Rev Sara Lewis

Spiritual Practice Mini Retreats

Each month we explore a different spiritual theme, and this year Rev Sara and Rev Mary will offer a monthly mini retreat on the 2nd Saturday of each month beginning in October, to explore the spiritual theme through a variety of spiritual and creative practices.

Our spiritual theme for January is the Practice of Story. This 2 hour mini-retreat will explore this theme through a variety of spiritual and creative practices, such as meditation, storytelling, and more.
