A Community Inquiry in Preparation for the Installation of Our Settled Minister

On Saturday, June 4, 2022, the Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation will gather together with members and supporters of our larger community to celebrate the 70th anniversary of OUUC and the Installation of our Settled Minister, Reverend Mary Gear.

In the month of April, we are asking gatherings of the OUUC to consider what it means to have a Covenanted relationship with our installed minister.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

  • What is asked of me, as an individual congregant, to create a covenanted relationship to our settled minister, Reverend Mary?
  • What inner commitments can I make to serve this relationship?
  • What commitments can we as a community make to serve this relationship?

If you are a member of any of the following groups, you will have an opportunity to discuss these questions when your group meets in April.

Covenant Circles —Group Leaders Pat Sonnenstuhl, Mary Moore, Woody Moore, Lorrie Eaton, and Martha Nicoloff, Cindy Bowens

LUSH—Susan Bakke

Environmental Action Team—Joe Joy

Book Group –Nancy Brickell

PUGS—Pat Sonnenstuhl

Building and Grounds – Don Melnick

Thursday morning men’s coffee group – Don Melnick
