Jail Is Not the Answer: Support for People with Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders in Thurston County (a Justice Not Jails webinar)

NAMI Thurston-Mason and Justice not Jails are presenting a forum about how programs in Thurston County are working to prevent people with mental health and substance use disorders from entering the criminal justice system.

This is the first of three forums. The second and third forums will address programs in the Thurston County jail and the reality of life on the street after release.

Speakers will explain their program accomplishments and challenges and address recent legal changes and racial and ethnic disparities.
